Shellvoy
Meaning
Shellvoy is Shell's standard tanker voyage charter party form, widely used beyond Shell and generally seen as more detailed than ASBATANKVOY.
Also written as Shellvoy 6
Shellvoy explained
Shellvoy 6 covers the same ground as ASBATANKVOY but in more detail, especially on laytime, demurrage claims and environmental compliance. Many traders and refiners use it as their base form.
Owners fixing on Shellvoy terms usually review the laytime and claims sections closely, because the time limits and documentation rules are strict.
